Shipping Policy

The Grass is Green in the Fields for You is a very small operation, we are just one or two people and we run unusual hours. It is likely we're packing your order before work, after work, in the evenings, at the weekend, so please be patient with us.

All shipping costs are calculated by weight.

Our online order system is automated and so you will receive a confirmation email that your order has been placed, and another when your order is shipped. If you have chosen a tracked service, your tracking number will be in this second email. We may contact you directly via email if there is an issue with your order.

For UK delivery we only use Royal Mail Tracked 24. Once shipped, this should be with you the next day.

For International services we use two methods of shipping:

Royal Mail Standard International - no tracking number provided
Royal Mail International Tracked - tracking number provided

Whilst it is more expensive, we advise using a tracked service when using international shipping. We do keep an eye on postage costs, so if you are incorrectly charged, we will refund differences back to you.

Tracking numbers no only help you to follow your package but additionally you can see if there have been any hold ups or delays with customs. If your order is returned to us we will refund the full amount back to the account you made payment from. We will then email to let you know and advise you to try a tracked service.

We hold no responsibility if your package is held in customs and we cannot predict if this will happen. We do not cover duties and taxes within the shipping cost, these will be charged and collected locally.

For international orders where you are buying larger quantities - and this may only be a couple of heavier books! - please get in touch. We have made it so our website will only ship up to 2kg in weight. This is to ensure the best possible price for your postage!
